Today we celebrate the people who minister to others through difficult times.
The Grace Church C includes the parishioner volunteers who provide services such as visiting, driving, shopping and meals and the skilled Stephen Ministers who offer one to one Christian caregiving and ongoing support for people suffering or in crisis. These are confidential services and are available to all within our congregation and the community.
Can you hear Jesus’ words of comfort?
In Mathew 11:28-30, Jesus tells his followers,” Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
