This four hour workshop is for people who are interested in learning to strengthen the silence of their own hearts in order to help others through love, compassion and faith. In her book, The Wisdom Way of Knowing, Cynthia Bourgeault writes about the heart that is not the seat of your emotions but the heart that is a “multispectrum instrument of awareness. “ Through discussion, meditative practices based on the wisdom traditions, and dyad work, participants will learn to access their deep hearts and learn how to use the wisdom of the heart for the healing of themselves and others. Presented by Rahima Susan Schmall, Ph.D. – Rahima is a psychologist, registered nurse and healer who has successfully blended spirituality and psychology in her therapy and teaching for over 20 years. She has taught mindfulness meditation through the Shambala tradition and teaches the heart opening practices from the wisdom teachings of the Sufi tradition. Rahima has a private practice in St Helena.
