Every Sunday we offer two services:8:00 a.m. - Traditional. Episcopal Rite I:
Clergy wear vestments in colors reflecting the seasons of the Church year. Communion is offered, and prayer intercessors are available at that time. Organ only; singing is rare
10:00 a.m. -Family. Episcopal Rite II:
Clergy wear vestments in colors reflecting the seasons of the Church year. Communion is offered, and prayer intercessors are available at that time. Organ, choir, Sunday School, Nursery, and Child Care.
Worship is a major focus of the life of Grace Church.
There are a variety of ways in which lay people can help make this a joyous experiences.
Below is a list of opportunities for you to participate in Worship Services, click the title to find out more information:
Acolytes: (from sixth grade) Participate in the processional and assist the priest in celebrating the Eucharist.
Altar Guild: Participate in any or all of the guild's duties which include preparation of the altar before each service, keeping linens clean and ironed, keeping the silver vessels polished, dusting the sanctuary, flower preparation, etc.
Choir: Choral leading of hymns at the 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service.
Greeting: Greet visitors and new members at Sunday worship services.
Intercessors: Provide private intercessory prayer at the Sunday worship services.
Lay Eucharistic Ministry: Administration of the chalice at the Eucharistic service and to the ill and house-bound.
New Member Ministry: Help develop new ways to evangelize.
Lectors: Read from the Scriptures at the Sunday worship services.
Ushers: Greet worshippers and guide them in seating, the collection, and going to the altar for communion.
